These fit my hand perfectly and have a great spring action which helps if you have arthritis. Not too big, nor too small. And they're very sharp! Perfect way to start summer in the garden.
"Product that wont let you down" 2010-05-02

I purchased the Fiskars 9921 Softouch Micro-Tip Pruning Snip from Amazon mainly to trim delicate seedlings. I use them just about every single day to trim my tomato plants and they have worked very well and remain razor sharp. Needing something a little more heavy duty the Multi appeared perfect for the job of trimming my slightly larger plants. Unfortunately none of the big name hardware stores sell these or anything remotely comparable in build quality.
Like the Micro these are very well made and should last a very long time depending on use. The sheath is a bit large but it's handy to have especially for safety during storage. These do not include a removable protective tip like the Micro comes with. Also the lock on these is much stronger which is a good safety feature considering the blade on the outside edge. Overall these are great for trimming all types of soft stem plants such as roses, tomato's or leafy vegetables. As for trimming hard stemmed plants and hedges the bypass pruners would be a better choice.

This sturdy clipper is SO handy I am thinking of getting another one, I use it for everything and it is especially useful since it has sharp edges that can be used for cutting or opening anything. I highly recommend.
"Fiskars clipper" 2010-04-27

Love this mini clipper! Very versatile and lightweight. I stopped leaving it in my gardening box and keep it in the house. One tip: I keep a cork on the end when it's closed. It's very sharp! I'm going to look at more Fiskars products because I love this one so much!
"Multi-Snip my new gift idea for everyone" 2010-05-17

This tool is awesome enough to give as a small gift to anyone. I bought mine in a bargin bin at the end of the summer, so I didn't know how great it is until this spring when I started using it. Now I am buying it for everyone who deserves a small gift. I particularly liked it when I was potting plants. The knife edge is great for the plastic dirt and compost bags, the point of the clipper is great for lightly loosening the root ball at the bottom of the container. I love it. You will, too.
